Urgent male carer with driving licence in London

WANTED MATURE Male Carer over 26 , physically strong 5'10" or above. (For manual transfers to and from wheelchair, car, bed, toilet and shower).

Good cook with positive can do attitude. Must have English as first language with no strong accent, that may make it difficult to understand.

A full CLEAN UK driving licence for a manual gear change is required as are copies of both parts for insurance purposes

This is a self employed position and proof of self employment will be required, together with National Insurance number

Whilst experience is not essential it would be an obvious advantage.

Required to cover a three week period from June 29th, with possible additional weeks if satisfactory.

The work entails 24/7 live in care, assisting with dressing, exercising, cooking and cleaning.

All transfers are manual, however no assistance is required for toileting or showering other than transfers.

Graham is a 47 year old stroke survivor with right side paralysis and limited speech, communication is mainly by Light Writer. He requires help with day to day living, he is physically disabled, NOT mentally disabled. He enjoys shopping, food, football, especially Arsenal. Not necessarily in that order.

Carer has own room with Sky tv.

Wage is £550 per week, paid in arrears by cheque.
