Are you looking for a hideaway in the back of beyond where "Istrice" (porcupine) and "Cinghiale" (wild boar) thrive, where streams do not dry out in summer and where the shadowy oak and chestnut forests provide an ideal breeding ground for mushrooms? A place where you can hike, ride a bike or a horse without being bothered by traffic? Where the cuisine is still down-to-earth and originally Tuscan without tourist distortion? Where the best olives grow and where wine is produced naturally without the addition of chemicals. This is exactly the place in the the Alta-Maremma where you find our Casa al Sole, a former “Podere” (farm house) of the 17th century converted into country style holiday apartments. Several other buildings, a pool, horse stables and a paddock are part of the setting. Our guests can choose from three different size apartments provided with all necessary comfort. Each apartment has a kitchen, a bathroom, one or several bed rooms, a living room with an open fireplace, and they are all equipped with central heating. All apartments have their separate entrance and an outdoor pergola to sit in the shade. The property includes 5 acres of land with an olive grove, woods and a stream and there are many walking paths and romantic places in the shade inviting you to have a rest.
