London behind the scenes : free tour guide training in London

WORLDwrite's unique programme of alternative on foot, on line and on film tours of the East End have started to make their mark. Following the programme's considerable success to date, the charity is arranging further accredited training for would be young tour guides (16-25 years) and applications are now open for the 2009 intake. The course takes place one evening per week and on some weekends, starting with an introductory evening in February. The course is free for 16-25 year olds and there are numerous opportunities for older volunteers to assist with the programme.
